University of Pennsylvania Sued by Veterans in Radiation Therapy Lawsuit
Five veterans are currently suing the Department of Veterans Affairs and its co-partner, the University of Pennsylvania, for incorrect dosing of medical radiation. In a new treatment called Brachytherapy, the men were treated for prostate cancer, but doctors failed to administer the radiation properly. These veterans have all experienced recurrances in their cancers and are now taking lawsuits against Penn for medical negligence.
