Norristown Developer Fails to Remediate Unsafe Condos

A luxury condominium building located on Sandy Street in Norristown, Pennsylvania was judged so unsafe that it was condemend by code enforcement last month—forcing all of its residents to be evicted. The town of Norristown later assigned an engineering crew to inspect the building, and discovered flaws like structurally unsupportive stairwells, hollow walls and a lax fire-alarm system, which should have been fixed years ago. R. Bruce Fazio, the developer of the 26-condo building, has acknowleged the $232,000 it would cost in repairs but refuses to pay the costs necessary for fixing the complex because he claims to be too far in debt.

Sleeping Passenger Sues United Airlines

Ginger McGuire was an airline passenger who fell asleep on her flight and was locked in the plane for approximately four hours after the plane landed. A cleaning crew discovered her at which point they kept her locked in the plane while they contacted the appropriate officials.

McGuire is suing both United Airlines and its partner Trans State Airlines, the regional carrier operating under United Airlines.
