ESPN Reporter Sues Marriott International for Aiding Invasion of Privacy

Erin Andrews, a reporter for ESPN, is filing a suit against the man who secretly videotaped her through her hotel room peephole on two separate occassions. Michael Barrett called multiple hotels asking for Andrews’ booking information, and these hotels offered him not only confirmations that she was there, but Andrews’ room number and a room for Barrett directly beside hers. Barrett then posted the illegally-obtained videos of the reporter all across the internet, leading to her great “emotional distress.” At this time, Andrews is also suing the hotels that wrongfully gave out her information for their assistance in this criminal act.

“Octomom” Doctor Accused of Medical Negligence

The fertility doctor for the “octomom” is now in danger of losing his license due to recent accusations of negligence. Apparently, Michael Kamrava had implanted too many embryos into a female patient, which put her safety at risk and took the life of one of her babies. Kamrava has other accusations against him as well, and the Medical Board of California will discuss these claims at his hearing on October 18th.
